A Regulation to apply certain laws to the Federally
Administered Tribal Areas
Preamble: Whereas it is expedient to apply certain laws to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas:---
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Clause (5) of Article 247 of the Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the President is pleased to make the following Regulation, namely:---
1. Short title, extent and commencement:---(1) This Regulation may be called the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (Application of Laws) Regulation, 1975.
(2) It extends to the whole of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas.
(3) It shall come into force at once.
2. Application of certain laws to the Federally Administered Tribal Areas:---The laws specified in the Schedule and, so far as may be, all rules, notifications and orders made or issued thereunder, shall apply to the whole of the Federally Administered Tribal Areas or to the parts of those Areas to which they do not already apply.
