The Monopoly Control Authority (Value of Assets) Rules, 1991

11th April, 1991

In exercise of the power conferred by section 24 of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices (Control and Prevention) Ordinance, 1970 (V of 1970) read with section 4 thereof, the Monopoly Control Authority herein makes the following rules, namely:---

1. Short title and commencement.- (1) These rules may be called the Monopoly Control Authority (Value of Assets) Rules, 1991.

(2) They shall come into force at once.

2. Total value of assets.-- For the purpose of clause (a) at section 4 of the Monopolies and Restrictive Trade Practices (Control and Prevention) Ordinance, 1970 (V of 1970), the amount of the total value of assets shall he not less than one hundred and fifty million rupees.

3. Repeal. - The Monopoly Control Authority (Value of Assets) Rules, 1978 are hereby repealed.
