the Federal Investigation Agency (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1978

S. R. O. 336 (Il/78.‑In exercise of the powers conferred by section 9 of the Federal Investigation Agency Act, 1974- (VIII of 1975), the Federal Government is pleased to make the following rules, namely:‑‑-
1. Short title, commencement and application.‑(1) These rules may be called the Members of the Federal Investigation Agency (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1978.
(2) They shall come into force at once and shall apply to every member of the Agency.
2. Application of Government Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973.‑The Government Servants (Efficiency and Discipline) Rules, 1973, shall apply to the members of the Agency and in such application shall have effect as if, in the said Rules,‑--
(a) for the words "Government Servant", wherever occurring, the words "member of the Agency" were substituted;
(b) in rule 2. in clause (4), the words, brackets, comma and figure "or contrary to Government Servants (Conduct) Rules, 1964" were omitted;
(c) rule 9 were omitted;
(d) in rule 10, for the words, figure, brackets and comma "under Part XIII of the Civil Service (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules" the words "by the Federal Government" were substituted; and
(e) rule 11 were omitted.
