NOTIFICATION

No. 44-2010/20-LR(I). In exercise of the powers conferred by section 46 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1967 (West Pakistan act, XVII of 1967) and in partial modifications of the Schedule to Board of Revenue, Punjab’s notification No. 2623-2008/1244-LR(I), dated 8th September, 2008, the Board of Revenue, Punjab is pleased to direct that entries under the headings against Sub-Registrar. No. 1, 2, 3, and 6 of the Schedule shall be substituted as under with immediate effect.

Entry on registered deed or devolution by inheritance, or will, or mortgage in favour of a banking company, or order of Revenue Officer making or affirming partition under Chapter XI of the Punjab Land Revenue act, 1967 of directing the incorporation in the record of a private partition.

Entry based on redemption on certificate of release of charge of mortgage under the loans for agricultural purposes Act, 1973 (Federal Act, XLII of 1973).

Entry based on “tamleek” (gift in favour of legal heir) upto 25 acres of agricultural land in rural area.

Entry bases on settlement compromise in favour of legal heirs, in respect of agricultural land in rural area.

2.         The Board of Revenue, Punjab is further pleased to direct that in the mutation fee recovered in respect of each mutation, the shares of the Patwari, Kanungo, and the Revenue Officer shall be as under:---

 

                        (1)        Patwari who entered the mutation                          Rs. 100/-

                        (2)        Kanungo who verified the mutation                                    Rs. 50/-

                        (3)        Revenue Officer who decided the mutation                        Rs. 50/-

 

The Revenue Officer shall retain with him for disbursement of the shares of the Patwari, Kanungo, and Revenue Officer in the mutation fee and the remaining mutation fee shall be deposited under the relevant head of account of Provincial Government.
